- Non-competing with other members

- Willing to work toward the collective goals
- Attend 50% of Alliance meetings

Associate Member
- At least $500,000 in Retail Sales
- Participation in preferred vendor programs
- Willing to work toward the collective goals
- Attendance at meetings by invitation
- $500 initiation fee / $250 annual dues
Affiliate Member
- No dollar minimum
- Participation in preferred vendor programs
- Willing to work toward the collective goals

Membership Benefits
Employee Exchange Program – We have created an opportunity for member businesses to send key employees to visit other member business. The goal is to provide exposure to other methods of production, inventory maintenance, marketing, installation and other key business functions.
Cooperative Purchasing – There are numerous opportuities to enter into joint purchasing ventures with other members to take advantage of discounts on shipping charges, quantity discounts and product minimum orders.
Member Networking – Weekly, numbers of e-mails and phone calls are exchanged between members asking for help to find needed products or components, assistance in preparing quotes, etc. The level of technical knowledge among our members is the highest in the industry.
Recognition as a Alliance Member – As an Alliance Member, you are able to communicate to vendors that you are a part of this very visible organization. This affiliation communicates that you are a part of a select group and, as such, deserve attention beyond what you might gain as an individual business. Essentially, this is an opportunity to join in a process that might ordinarilly incur massive franchise fees or allow others to benefit more from your business activity than is warranted.
Access to a world class Website for your company – Currently, five of our members have implemented a web site that is the most extensive non e-commerce site on the web for window treatments. The purpose of the site is to provide the following:
- A showcase for all of your products that can be used by your sales force, customers, etc.
- A place to post policies, installation information, repair information, etc.
- Customers may make appoinments and print off a map to your location.
- A complete e-mail system
- A monthly decorating newsletter
- A link for customers to apply for consumer credit.
- An area to post current specials with coupons that can be printed.
- A virtual decorator
There are many more areas of content. In the future, we will be adding video streams and other media to boost user effectiveness. Preferred Vendor Programs
An important benefit of Alliance membership is access to negotiated pricing and other benefits offered by numerous Preferred Vendors. The list grows monthly. This list is a private list and available to members only.
Meetings
Currently, meetings are held twice a year, spring and fall. Meetings include presentations by current preferred vendors, prospective preferred vendors, specific information sessions and private meeting times for the general membership. The goal is always to provide members with opportunities to explore new products, new business and production techniques and compare their procedures to other successful businesses in the Alliance.
Full members are expected to attend 50% of scheduled meetings. Associate and Affiliate members attend by invitation.
Information shared by members is considered confidential.
Meeting locations are selected by a consensus of Full members.
Care is always exercised to assure that discussions follow all guidelines related to restraint of trade.
Planning for meetings and day-to-day operations are the responsibility of the Alliance Directors. There is a President, Vice-President and Treasurer.

The Initiation Fee and Dues must be paid upon acceptance for membership. Dues are billed yearly. The Application Fee is due with submission of application and may be paid with check or credit card.
